Corría el año 1963 y en la sede de la cooperativa Farmacéutica “General San Martín”, ubicada en la ciudad de Resistencia, se reunían los doctores Adolfo Petraglia, Rita Weisman, José Félix Flores, Carlos Martínez Quiroga, Antonio Coca, Ramón Zamorano y Oscar E. Torres para llevar a cabo la primera reunión de la Comisión Directiva del nuevo Colegio de Bioquímicos del Chaco.
En el acta de aquella primera reunión, realizada el 16 de diciembre, se deja en claro la importancia de tener colegiación obligatoria para los profesionales bioquímicos de la Provincia, que se ve reflejada en la unidad, en el trabajo igualitario, responsable y en beneficio de todos y no de unos pocos.
Hoy, 58 años más tarde, estamos celebrando cada uno de los logros alcanzados como institución que nuclea a todos los profesionales bioquímicos del Chaco, tanto en el ámbito público como en el privado. El Colegio desde sus inicios ha trabajado y puesto en primer lugar la visión de beneficio colectivo, que puede verse demostrada en las acciones realizadas a lo largo de estos años.
Desde aquel día sostenemos la filosofía de defender la profesión y darle el reconocimiento que le corresponde como herramienta fundamental dentro del ámbito de la salud y prevención para toda la población.
Todas las palabras de la 1º acta cobran valor en cada uno de los profesionales bioquímicos chaqueños. Desde el Consejo Directivo siempre las defenderemos, sosteniendo y aumentando los ideales que abrazaron nuestros fundadores.
